The Cape Coral Police Department in partnership with the Police Athletic League and Cape Coral Parks and Recreation seeks volunteers who know how to have a good time.
Cape Coral Parks and Recreation is creating a new “Fun Mobile” Mobile Recreation Unit. This solar-powered van travels to parks and community events and is loaded with sports equipment that can be checked out, a PA system and mobile DJ for special events, a mobile registration system to sign up for Parks and Rec programs, and more.
The “Fun Mobile” unit will be driven and operated by Parks and Recreation Staff, with assistance by Cape Coral Police Department Volunteers, and this is where you can make a difference.
The Cape Coral Police Department is looking for a group of energetic volunteers who like to have fun, who are passionate about youth sports and recreation, and who have a few hours a month to donate to make a difference in the lives of youth in our community.
Applicants must complete the Cape Coral Police Department Police Volunteer Unit application packet. Applicants will also be interviewed, fingerprinted, and subject to a background check.
Click the link below to download the application. Applications can be dropped off at the Cape Coral Police Department Headquarters and are being accepted through March 15, 2018.
