Deadline Extended: Applications Being Accepted for 2018 “Do The Right Thing” Scholarship

It’s that time of the year where the Cape Coral Police Department gives high school seniors the opportunity to apply for a $1,000.00 scholarship. The “Do The Right Thing Scholarship Program” gives (2) two high school seniors $1,000.00 each to their designated college/university.

            Requirements for Scholarship:

  • Enrolled in a 12th grade Cape Coral School
  • Maintained a GPA of 2.5 or better
  • Have a resume
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • 300 word typed essay

    Applications can be found on the “Do The Right Thing” tab on our website, by clicking on the file link below and printing a copy, or by picking up an application in the police department lobby located at 1100 Cultural Park Boulevard. All applications need to be filled out and postmarked by March 16th, 2018. Please note that applicants DO NOT have to be past “Do The Right Thing” winners.
