January Sundown Stroll

Thursday:  The Looke Champagne Boutique and all the merchants of The Marina Village Shops invite you to enjoy an evening of entertainment to honor and support our veterans. As part of our monthly Sundown Stroll events, this January we will do our best to create a fun and patriotic event to raise money for and awareness of HEARTS AND HOMES FOR VETERANS. Entertainment to include: Picture with a Pin-Up, Patriotic Pups on Parade, Dancing Feat, Standards sung by Carolyn Moltu, And more!!! Raffles, specials and a chance to truly thank a Veteran!

Tour De Cape

Friday – Sunday:  It’s the 27th Anniversary of Tour De Cape! The weekend begins with a kick-off celebration Friday night. Participants can pick up packets, maps, and t-shirts. Saturday morning, The 5K run/walk is designed for advanced and novice runners. A continental breakfast will be available for participants.  Join us for the Kids ride where kids will receive a T-shirt and a hot dog lunch. Sunday’s bike tours offer varied routes from 15, 30, 62, and 100 mile courses in the west and north sections of Cape Coral. The event provides a continental breakfast, lunch, on route rest stations with snacks and beverages, SAG vehicles, Police support, and route maps.

Youth Center 2018 Classic Car Show

Saturday:  3rd Annual Classic Car Show to benefit the William “Bill” Austen Youth Center Scholarship Program. The cost is just $20 per car (accepted day of the show only) and the first 50 registered cars will receive a free dash plaque. In addition, all registered drivers will receive a free lunch! Awards will be given out at 2:00 p.m. in 6 classes, with 3 trophies per class, plus there will be additional awards presented for Best of Show, Club Participation, Best Paint, Best Interior and Best Engine. There will also be door prizes and giveaways throughout the day…and spectators are welcome to attend for free!

Cape Coral High School “Community Festival”

Saturday:  Live music on stage all day at the Cape Coral High Community Festival. 20+ food trucks, bounce houses, face painting and games for kids. Swat team, CCFD,Lee Health will have vehicles there and SADD & MADD will help spread a message of safety. FREE Admission

Sportsman Fishing Show Expo

Saturday – Sunday:  The Florida Sportsman Expo, in its 23rd year, will be staged at Lee County Civic Center like a three-ring circus for anglers, boaters and hunters. The expo will feature continuous seminar stages, casting ponds, children events, a hands-on rigging table, free fly- and net-casting lessons, the newest line-up of boats of all sizes and exhibits by Florida Fish and Wildlife.  Admission: $8 per person, Children 12 and under with an adult is free! *Parking is $5
