The School District of Lee County is hosting a New 2 Teaching Academy Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Jan. 8-19, at Paul Laurence Dunbar Middle School in Fort Myers.
The two-week course will prepare budding teachers for a future career with the district by focusing on several topics. These topics include how to manage the learning environment, planning and preparation, and instructional resources and technology.
