- Focus on The Good Stuff – Mike Robbins. A “how to” self improvement with a lot of good suggestions. This would be most effective for 30 to 50 year old people to improve their lives, employment opportunities’ and personal relationships. ***
- They Left Us Everything – Plum Johnson. Very well written book about care giving for parents for 20 years, Then the tasks of care for everything after they have died. Very “real world” experiences with a lot of humor. *****
- Born a Crime – Trevor Noah. South African comedian writes about his life in South Africa. Pretty interesting life on the fringes of society. ***
- JFK and the Reagan Revolution – Lawrence Kudlow & Brian Domitrovic. This can be a tedious read as it is about financial history of the JFK & Reagan tax cuts and their effect on the economy, with some political history too. It is great history. ****
- Barons of the Beltway – Michelle Fields. Inside information of a LOT of the corruption (pay to play) & outright pay offs in Washington D.C. **
- In The President’s Secret Service – Ronald Kesler. Behind the scenes stories about Presidents & their families. Some juicy stuff; about 20% is juicy, but 80% pretty dull reading. **
- Lucky 666- Bob Drury/Tom Calvin. A WW2 story about a pilot, Jay Zeamer, who seldom paid any attention to rules or regulations. Flew one of the most dangerous recon flights in a scraped B-17 rebuilt & souped up by him & his friends. ****
- Prince Charles – Sally Bedell Smith. If you are interested in the British Royal family, this biography is for you. A lot of history and an in depth look at the politics, finances, intrigue and personal lives (Diana & Camilla.) ****
- Fast Asleep Wide Awake – Nerina Ramlakhan. A how to book on sleep therapy – diet, mental, and physical advice to solve sleep issues. **
- Shattered – Jonathan Allen & Amie Parnes. A detailed look at Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Actually too detailed with 450 pages. ***
