Now Accepting Applications for the South Cape Redevelopment Agency Board

Have you been looking for a way to get involved in your community?  Do you live or own a business in the South Cape redevelopment area?  Here’s your chance!

Notice To The Public
 
The Cape Coral City Council will be accepting applications for the following Boards/Commissions/Committees:
 
South Cape Community  Redevelopment Advisory Board                   
 
(3) *Citizen of the United States and resident of Cape Coral
      *an alternate could also be chosen from the same pool of applicants.
 
Individuals, who by their background, expertise, and personal interest, are needed to assist the South Cape Advisory Board to fulfill its role and responsibilities.  Although membership on the South Cape Advisory Board is not limited to representatives from among the following categories, the City Council, in making the appointments to the South Cape Advisory Board, shall give consideration to seeking representatives from among the following categories: 
 
  • A person who is a resident of the Redevelopment Area;
  • An owner of land used for non-residential purposes in the Redevelopment Area;
  • A retailer or merchant in the Redevelopment Area;
  • A restaurant, bar, or nightclub operator in the Redevelopment Area;
  • An urban planner or architectural designer;
  • A building contractor or developer;
  • A banker or financier;
  • A commercial real estate broker
Applications are available on the City’s website www.capecoral.net, the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 1015 Cultural Park Boulevard, or if you would like one mailed, call the City Clerk’s Office at 574-0411.  
 
Applications must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017
