Healthy Lee 5210 Pledge News: July
Thanks for participating in Healthy Lee’s 5210 Pledge!

This week, the 5210 Pledge continues to focus on getting one hour or more of physical activity every day. As this month comes to an end, we encourage you to get a head start on the August challenge of drinking no sugar-sweetened drinks and drink more water instead!

Don’t forget to encourage your family and friends to take the 5210 Pledge! It’s not too late to commit to healthy habits and Healthy Lee will show you how to make it a part of your lifestyle!

Not a Runner? Here are a few tips…
Running Tips
If you’re not a runner, the thought of starting a running schedule can seem daunting. It is important to remember that adopting a new physical activity takes time.

Start slowly, thirty minutes of activity during the week is a great goal for beginners. Remember, always warm up and cool down by walking slowly for five minutes before and after a brisk walk or run. Check out Healthy Lee’s additional workout tips to help you stay active!
