AMERICAN VETERAN PROGRAM SOARS TO NEW HEIGHTS WITH HOUSING IN FLORIDA

LYND is proud to announce their newest Veteran program addition, Mission Springs. This makes two for the Invest in America’s Veterans Foundation (IAVF), a non-profit organization, and their first in Florida.

Florida is a state that is in dire need of affordable Veteran housing. In an effort to support and improve the lives of those who have served in the military, LYND is excited to add Mission Springs to the portfolio. Mission Springs is located in Jacksonville and is 444 units in size. The plan is to build a Veteran Center for this community.

The center is designed to service Veterans with job placement, DD-214 retrieval, education benefits, food assistance, suicide prevention, counseling, housing assistance for homeless Veterans, transportation to the VA Hospital, and a dedicated Veteran Service Officer will be assigned to the community to support the needs of the foundation participants. What is truly special about this particular Veteran Center is that it has been designed with an outdoor recreational area which includes a cooking facility, picnic areas, and family gathering spaces. This center will provide Veterans from any military branch and of any age a place to meet and speak with other Veterans, and engage in conversations that only they can understand. This center will serve as a place for families to come together, socialize, and support each another. Unique by design, healing for the soul.

“This program has really started to take off and is being embraced in major markets. Our partnership with IAVF has been a huge success thus far with the purchase of a $19.2 Million Apartment Project “The Cove at NOLA,” and now with the purchase of a $29 Million Apartment Project “Mission Springs.”

“This is the second acquisition in 3 months with 4 more scheduled to close in the next 90 days. Jacksonville was a natural fit given the heavy concentration of military bases in the city. We look to serve the Heroes who live among us”, said Adam David Lynd, CEO of LYND Opportunity Partners & Advisor for the IAVF Program.

Ralph A. Santillo, an Army Veteran who founded IAVF, said “We are grateful to have formed a relationship with LYND, and to have this wonderful opportunity to support
our American Veterans. We are proud to add Mission Springs to our program so we can continue to offer services and housing to our Veterans in need. Especially in an area like Florida where our services our so desperately needed. We are proud to announce that this will be the first of many communities to come in this area.”

On September 11, 2017 an unveiling of the new center at Mission Springs will occur in celebration of IAVF’s 8th anniversary. “We invite all American Veterans who are interested in our services to visit. Our doors our open and we are here to serve you. We will provide updates on this event via our website, as our new Veteran Center is being built. We encourage you to follow this exciting event online or stop by Mission Springs for details. They can connect you to our Veteran Service Officer who is located onsite.”
