ANNUAL “WICKED DOLPHIN DECADES PARTY: 1950’S SHELTER HOUSE ROCK” TO BENEFIT THE CAPE CORAL ANIMAL SHELTER

The annual fundraiser for the Cape Coral Animal Shelter has been announced to take place on March 11, 2017 from 7-11 pm presented by Wicked Dolphin Distillery with the event taking place at their business, located at 131 SW 3rd St. in Cape Coral. 

This 1950’s theme event will be a night of costumes, cocktails, food, music, dancing, contests, live and silent auctions creating fun for all attendees.  Attendees are encouraged to wear attire fitting to the era or a personality from the decade to join in the fun.  The event will be decorated back to 1950’s America.  Tickets are $75 per person and include an evening of hors d’oeuvres and desserts from well known area restaurants, music & entertainment, cash bar, contest to win prizes, dancing, auctions and more!
 
Many new and previous sponsors are supporting the event with generous donations and auction items.  Wicked Dolphin is the presenting sponsor.  John Michaels Diamond & Jewelry will sponsor their annual champagne diamond drop where someone will be the recipient of a 1 ct. diamond at the end of the evening.  Other sponsors include, Texas Roadhouse, Stephen Todd Interiors, Gavin’s Ace Hardware, High Impact Designz,7daybox.com, Animal ER of SW Florida, LAI Construction Management, Myers Brettholtz & Co., Raso Realty, Red Salon & Spa, Myers Brettholtz & Company, PA, CapeStyle Magazine, Gator Press, FOS Furniture, Morgan Stanley, Beach Dog, Capecoral.com, Cape Coral Lifestyle, Key West Express, and The Westin.  Sponsor opportunities are still available.

This is the third year that Wicked Dolphin has presented the event.  The first year celebrated the 1920’s with a theme of prohibition.  The following year’s theme had attendees enjoying the 1940’s war effort and Hollywood Glamour.  “Each year we have more to offer and enjoy by all but the end results is to raise funds for the Cape Coral Animal Shelter in order to save more lives and give the city a service that is desperately needed,” said Cape Coral Animal Shelter President and Wicked Dolphin Distillery owner, JoAnn Elardo.

The Cape Coral Animal Shelter is currently in its beginning stages to create a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter.  The organization is dedicated to engaging a special bond between people and animals by means of adoption services, medical care, education and training for the prevention of cruelty and abandonment.  The shelter will provide a safe place where animals will receive the care they need and remain until they are placed in a qualified, forever home.  More information on the Shelter can be found at www.capecoralanimalshelter.com.
