Bringing New Hope to Southwest Florida’s Homeless Pets

The Cape Coral Animal Shelter (CCAS) organization is making progress in its efforts to build a new no-kill shelter with veterinary clinic.  The possibilities are endless to save 40,000+ animals over a 20-year span! To date, nearly $1.4 million dollars has been raised in donations and capital campaign pledges.  The target goal is reach $2.2 million dollars in funds. Construction commencement is planned for Winter 2017 with a projected Grand Opening in the Spring of 2018.

The City of Cape Coral’s Government Leadership, business owners and residents have been working together with the CCAS Board of Directors and volunteer organization in their mission to bring the shelter to a reality.  Building plans are under way and moving through proper channels and phases of the building process. Currently the team is reaching out to members of our community who can donate building supplies and materials to help in the building of the Cape Coral Animal Shelter.

Additional fund-raising efforts include dedicated events and a capital campaign aimed to provide a unique opportunity of support for the shelter in a distinct way and create a Family Legacy.  Capital campaign naming rights opportunities are varied ranging from dog kennels, cat rooms, Tree of Life family name plaques to trees for the Memory Garden and outdoor play areas just to name a few. Capital campaign items and donation opportunities can be found on the Cape Coral Animal Shelter website: www.capecoralanimalshelter.com   These naming rights items can be purchased upfront or pledged. Please visit www.capecoralanimalshelter.com or contact the Director Team at 239.800.9752 regarding questions, donate, arrange a pledge plan or donate building supplies.

Another wonderful way to help the shelter is to enroll in the monthly automatic donation program.  In just a few simple steps, you can easily help the Cape Coral Animal Shelter become a true reality in its mission to better serve Southwest Florida’s homeless pets.  In support of CCAS, local Cape Coral businesses are hosting special dog house donation boxes throughout the city.  Please consider donating.  Your contribution goes a long way in helping the CCAS organization build a much-needed shelter for homeless and in need pets.

Our city is growing. More and more people are making Cape Coral their home and the need for a no-kill animal shelter is great. Healthy, adoptable animals can be saved, cared for and placed in forever homes.  Receiving unconditional love from a beautiful animal is a wondrous gift to behold. Please visit our website: www.capecoralanimalshelter.com  for information, sign up for the CCAS email newsletter, volunteer, donate and news about upcoming fund-raising events. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to participate and get involved.  Please help the Cape Coral Animal Shelter team build a safe place for animals in need. The Cape Coral Animal Shelter (CCAS) is a 501 (3) (c) nonprofit organization.
