Cape Coral Police would like to invite the public to the first phase of the Harry Chapin Food Drive for this holiday season. Cape Coral Police Department personnel will be at Oasis High School (3519 Oasis Blvd.) on the morning of November 10th for a Meet and Greet and to collect donations collected previously at the school.
10 November0615 – Oasis High School Setup for Media, Command Staff, participating officers, SROs, and school administrators0630 – Students begin to arrive to OHS0630-0700 – Command Staff participate in a Meet and Greet and direct interface with participating students.0700 – OHS begins first class0700-0715 – All participating personnel transition into the Lobby of the OHS to begin student interface and collection of all items for delivery to the Harry Chapin Food Bank0715-0745 – Command Staff and students interface while loading items0745-0800 – Command Staff transition from OHS to OES to begin the Meet and Greet with bus and vehicle riders.0800-0830 – Meet and Greet, Photo/Video opportunities0830-0900 – Load food, additional photo/video opportunities0900 – Food Drive complete
